Work Schedule: Day Shift (AU working hours)
Role Summary:
We’re looking for a driven and articulate B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective business clients — your primary objective is to qualify leads and book high-quality meetings for our BDM’s. You’ll be calling businesses across key verticals including Debt Collection, Utilities, Financial Services, Insurance, Automotive to name a few.

Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Prospecting
Conduct high-volume outbound calls to B2B prospects across target verticals
Research and identify key decision-makers (Operations, IT, Finance, C-Suite)
Follow up on marketing-qualified leads and inbound enquiries
Run structured cadences using HubSpot sequences and call tasks

Lead Qualification & Appointment Setting
Qualify prospects against ideal customer profile (ICP) criteria
Articulate client’s core value proposition clearly and confidently
Communicate the benefits of our platform at a high level, including:
Self-serve portal for campaign and contact management
API-based integrations with existing business systems
Pre-built connectors and webhook capabilities
AI-powered outbound voice and SMS solutions
Overcome objections with composure and product knowledge
Book qualified meetings directly into Account Executive calendars

CRM & Pipeline Management
Log all call activity, outcomes, and notes in HubSpot accurately and promptly
Maintain and update contact and company records
Track appointment outcomes and follow up on no-shows
Provide weekly reporting on calls made, connect rates, and meetings booked

Collaboration
Work closely with Account Executives to align on target accounts and messaging
Share prospect feedback and objection themes with the broader sales and product team
Participate in regular team stand-ups and training sessions

Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in B2B outbound calling, telemarketing, or SDR/BDR roles
Strong phone manner with clear, professional verbal communication
Comfortable discussing technology products without being a technical expert
Ability to explain SaaS concepts such as APIs, integrations, and self-serve portals in plain language
Experience using HubSpot CRM (or equivalent) for pipeline and task management
Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
Excellent listening and objection-handling skills

Desirable:
Experience in telecommunications, SaaS, fintech, or debt collection adjacent industries
Familiarity with AI-driven communication tools or contact centre solutions
Understanding of outbound voice campaign workflows or dialler platforms
Experience working with HubSpot sequences, deal pipelines, and reporting dashboards
Exposure to compliance-conscious sales environments (e.g. financial services, utilities)
