Kalibr Media is a fast-growing real estate videography company based in Austin, TX. We produce high-end listing videos, teasers, and reels for top real estate agents across Texas — and we're scaling fast. We're a small, tight team that moves quickly, takes quality seriously, and has a clear vision for where this is going.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a full-time video editor who can take raw real estate footage and turn it into polished, client-ready deliverables — consistently and efficiently. You'll be editing listing reels, teasers, and social cuts primarily in Final Cut Pro, working within our established style and workflow.

This isn't a creative-from-scratch role. We have a defined look, a LUT workflow, and a shot selection system. Your job is to execute it at a high level, fast.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Edit full listing reels (approx. 1:30) and short-form teasers from provided footage
• Apply our LUT workflow (Utopia LUT for standard footage, Utopia D-Log for drone) LUTS will be provided, if you already have a great color workflow that looks good to us thats fine.
• Follow our shot selection hierarchy: wide ? detail ? detail formula (subject to change, not a hard rule)
• Sync cuts to music using beat detection, leading with the drop
• Execute speed ramps, color grades, and finishing passes to client-ready standard
• Incorporate revision feedback quickly and cleanly
• Communicate turnaround status and flag issues proactively

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proficient in Final Cut Pro (perffered)
• Strong feel for music-driven editing and beat sync
• Experience editing real estate or architectural video preferred
• Fast turnaround without sacrificing quality — we move at volume
• Detail-oriented: color, motion, pacing, and audio polish matter here
• Self-managed: you don't need your hand held (head editor available for questions and help)
• Able to follow a style guide and replicate a look consistently

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with drone footage (D-Log grading)
• Familiarity with FCPXML workflows
• Experience editing to spec for both horizontal and vertical/social formats

COMPENSATION

Competitive, based on experience. Per-project and salary structures available. Room to grow as we expand to multiple markets.
