About the Role:
We’re launching Hope Coffee Company, a third-wave coffee shop in Los Angeles — and we’re looking for a smart, organized, and experienced Hospitality Project Lead from the Philippines to help us turn this vision into reality.
You’ll work directly with the founder (a physician-entrepreneur) and be part of a fast-growing team managing multiple businesses. Your job will be to coordinate and lead the pre-opening operations of our coffee shop — from vendor research to timeline management — ensuring every detail is moving forward smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the pre-opening project plan for Hope Coffee Company
Research suppliers, vendors, consultants, and contractors (coffee equipment, branding, POS, etc.)
Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and updates using tools like Asana, Google Workspace, and Notion
Support with menu development, barista training coordination, and vendor selection
Keep track of tasks and timelines, and ensure progress across all areas
Prepare weekly progress reports and lead check-in calls with the founder
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in hospitality, coffee shop operations, or project coordination
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Highly organized, self-motivated, and reliable
Comfortable working remotely in Pacific time with time tracker
Background in launching a café, restaurant, or hospitality concept is a huge plus!
Bonus Points if You Have:
Prior experience in launching a food or coffee-based business
A love for specialty coffee or interest in café culture
Background in working with U.S.-based startups or founders
