NetSuite Functional Consultant / Project Lead

Project Leadership
• Lead full-cycle NetSuite implementations including discovery, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live
• Serve as primary client-facing project lead, managing stakeholder relationships and executive communications
• Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent engagements
• Coordinate with other tea ---------- mbers, offshore and onshore, vendors and clients
• Facilitate business requirements workshops and solution design sessions with C-suite and finance teams
• Oversee QA, conduct UAT, and change management processes to ensure successful adoption
NetSuite Functional Expertise
• Configure and optimize NetSuite modules including Financials, Order Management, Inventory, SuiteBilling, and Revenue Recognition
• Design and implement SuiteProjects for professional services and project-based businesses — time tracking, job costing with standard costing
• Build SuiteFlow workflows, saved searches, custom records, forms, and dashboards
• Architect multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and multi-book accounting structures
• Implement Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and ASC 606 compliance frameworks
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize third-party tools across the business technology stack — including CRM, billing, expense, and tax platforms — while leading end-to-end business process reengineering initiatives that align legacy workflows with NetSuite best practices to drive operational efficiency and scalability
• Own the creation and maintenance of comprehensive functional documentation including BRDs, SDDs, process flow diagrams, configuration workbooks, test scripts, training materials, and post-go-live runbooks to ensure continuity, audit readiness, and seamless knowledge transfer across internal teams and client stakeholders
Finance & Accounting
• Apply deep GAAP knowledge to design chart of accounts, financial reporting structures, and close processes
• Configure revenue recognition schedules, deferred revenue, and subscription billing models for SaaS clients
• Design financial consolidation and intercompany elimination workflows
• Partner with CFOs and Controllers to translate complex accounting requirements into NetSuite configuration
• Support audit readiness, SOX compliance, and internal controls documentation
