Laravel Developer

Hello,

We are looking for a Laravel developer for a paid test project, with the goal of hiring for full-time work if the result is solid.

We are prepared to pay $10 - $15 per hour. We are also looking for a long term commitment.

Your test task is to build a small Laravel proof of concept for a simple dating-style website. It does not need to be production-ready or feature-heavy; we want to see clean code, good structure, and sensible implementation choices.

Scope
• User registration and login. Packages are allowed.
• Basic user profile with name, age, bio.
• Browse other profiles in a simple list or card view.
• Messaging/conversations between users.
• Clean database structure using migrations and Eloquent relationships.
• Basic validation and a clean, usable interface. Can be very basic. No styling and pure html is acceptable.

What we will evaluate
• Laravel project structure and code quality.
• Database design and relationships.
• UI cleanliness and overall usability.
• Ability to keep scope realistic and deliver a working proof of concept within a reasonable time.
