Job Title: Full-Stack Developer (Next.js / Docker / AI SaaS) — Full-Time Remote

About the Work
You'll be building real products used by engineers in industrial automation and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Two active platforms:

PLCcode.ai — an AI-powered IDE for PLC programmers. Think GitHub Copilot, but built specifically for controls engineers. 1,500+ engineers on the waitlist.
---------- — a commissioning and CQV workflow platform for the AEC/pharma industry.

This is not a "maintain the WordPress site" job. You'll be writing real code, shipping real features, and working directly with the founder on product decisions.

What You'll Work On

Building and iterating on Next.js frontends across both platforms
Backend API development and integration (REST, webhooks, third-party APIs)
Docker-based deployments and containerized environments
Integrating AI/LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI)
Database work (PostgreSQL preferred)
Cloudflare Workers, Pages, and edge deployments
Code reviews, documentation, and async collaboration via GitHub


Required Skills

Next.js (App Router) — you should be comfortable with this, not learning it on my dime
Docker and Docker Compose
REST API design and consumption
Git / GitHub — PRs, branches, clean commits
Strong written English for async communication

Nice to Have

Experience with AI/LLM API integration
Cloudflare ecosystem (Workers, Tunnels, Pages)
PostgreSQL / Supabase
Tailwind CSS
Familiarity with industrial automation, pharma, or engineering software (not required — but if you know what a PLC is, mention it)


About You

You take ownership. If something is broken, you fix it or flag it — you don't wait to be told.
You communicate proactively. Short daily update, flag blockers early.
You're comfortable working with ambiguity on an early-stage product.
You've shipped things. Show me your GitHub and deployed projects — a resume alone won't tell me much.


Logistics

Full-time, 50–60 hours per week — this is a high-output role
100% remote, async-friendly
Overlap with US Eastern Time preferred (a few hours per day)
Long-term engagement — I'm not looking for a one-project hire
