Healthcare Administrator Assistant & Operations Manager – Podiatry

Job Type: Full-Time or part time

We are seeking a highly capable, resourceful, and proactive Healthcare Administrator Assistant & Operations Manager to help manage and optimize our practice. This role is perfect for someone who is smart, independent, and well-versed in healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Patient Coordination
• Serve as the primary assistant to the physician, managing daily administrative and operational tasks
• Handle phone calls, patient scheduling, and appointment bookings
• Manage insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and claims follow-ups
• Oversee paperwork, medical records, and compliance documentation
• Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries
• Assist in drafting and managing patient and insurance correspondence

Operations & Practice Management
• Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Implement and maintain efficient processes for patient management, billing, and office organization
• Monitor and enforce compliance with healthcare regulations
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to maintain clinic efficiency
• Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively

Requirements:
• Experience in healthcare administration, operations management, or medical office management
• Strong knowledge of healthcare rules, insurance processes, and patient billing
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with EHR systems, insurance billing, and patient scheduling
• Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, or a related field is a plus
• Must be professional, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
