About Us: We’re a New Zealand-based ecommerce brand. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Senior Shopify Developer (Full?Time) to join our friendly remote team.

???? Remote | E-commerce Business | NZ Timezone hours (9am-6pm)

This is a full?time, long?term role. We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer / Shopify Specialist to fully own and manage our Shopify store on a day?to?day basis.

You’ll be responsible for everything Shopify?related — from theme customisation and UX improvements to app integrations and ongoing optimisation — working closely with our internal team as the business grows.


What you’ll be doing:

Owning and maintaining our Shopify store end-to-end
Customising Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Improving product pages, collections, cart, and overall UX/CRO
Managing and integrating Shopify apps (reviews, upsells, loyalty, subscriptions, etc.)
Optimising site speed, mobile experience, and performance
Supporting promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns
Troubleshooting and resolving Shopify issues efficiently
Advising on Shopify best practices and scalable solutions
Further developing and maintaining our internal Shopify ? Unleashed integration app
Building and improving internal tools and reporting related to inventory, orders, and operations
What we’re looking for:

Strong hands-on experience with Shopify theme development
Solid knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience working with live Shopify stores
Experience working with Shopify APIs and webhooks
Ability to work on internal tools, integrations, and reporting
Good understanding of eCommerce UX and conversion optimisation
Ability to work independently and take full ownership
Clear communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to have (not required):**

Experience with Shopify APIs or light custom app work
Shopify Plus or checkout extensibility experience
CRO or performance optimisation background
