Knowledge of Siemen's Compass Program is a plus but not required. Must be willing to learn this program.

We are a Los Angeles based electrical distributor and wholesaler established in 2004, supplying contractors and developers with electrical materials for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We are an authorized distributor for major brands including Siemens and other leading manufacturers, providing a full range of electrical solutions.
This is a long-term opportunity with consistent and ongoing work. We are not looking for occasional support. We need someone reliable who can handle a steady volume of projects and grow with our team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Electrical Engineer who can review electrical drawings and provide accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates. This role also requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to support both internal staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Review electrical plans and drawings and prepare detailed estimates
Perform material takeoffs for:
• Switchboards
• Metering Panels
• Lighting Systems
Ensure all materials meet project specifications and requirements
Analyze electrical systems and provide accurate, code-compliant solutions
Provide technical support to internal staff
Assist with client questions and communicate technical details clearly
Work closely with the team to ensure fast and accurate turnaround on quotes
Mandatory Requirements:
Must be able to work 5 hours per day, 5 days per week (starting schedule)
Must be able to fully accommodate PST (Los Angeles) business hours and remain responsive during this time
Strong understanding of U.S. electrical standards and codes
Strong knowledge of power distribution fundamentals, including:
• Three-phase systems
• Voltage regulation
• Protection schemes
• Electrical system analysis
Experience in industrial, commercial, and construction projects
In-depth knowledge of:
• Transformers
• Switchgear
• Circuit breakers
• Protective devices
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings accurately
Ability to ensure all designs and materials meet U.S. project requirements and compliance standards
Communication Requirements:
Must be able to speak and write clear English
Must be able to communicate effectively with U.S.-based staff and clients
Compensation:
Starting: $430/month based on 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Schedule must align with PST (Los Angeles) business hours
After performance review: $690–$700/month based on full-time (40 hours per week, 5 days per week)

This is a long-term role with consistent daily work
Candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects
Opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance
Experience working with U.S. contractors, developers, or distributors preferred
Familiarity with quoting materials for U.S.-based projects is a must
