Our marketing is performance-driven, and high-converting video creative is central to our scaling strategy.

The Role:
We're seeking a skilled and agile E-commerce Response Video Editor (full time / 40 hours per week) who understands how to create video ads that don't just look good but convert. You will work in lockstep with our Creative Strategist, taking raw footage (UGC, potentially studio shots) and briefs to produce engaging, platform-optimized video ads primarily for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok. Your job is to execute rapidly, iterate effectively based on performance insights (provided by the strategist), and ensure the final output is engineered for maximum engagement and conversions. Forget long-form content; this is about short, punchy, direct-response video.

This is not a role for someone juggling multiple jobs, working for or running a freelancing agency, or managing several clients at once. We are looking for a dedicated full-time video editor who will ONLY WORK EXCLUSIVELY WITH US and be fully committed to our brand, team, and creative output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit High-Performing Video Ads: Transform raw footage and strategist briefs into compelling video ads optimized for Meta and TikTok feeds/stories/reels.

• Rapid Iteration: Quickly execute multiple variations of winning ad concepts provided by the Creative Strategist (testing different hooks, visuals, text overlays, CTAs, music). Understand that iteration based on data is key.

• Platform Optimization: Expertly edit for platform best practices – strong hooks within the first 3 seconds, fast pacing, engaging captions/text overlays, appropriate aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 4:5), safe zones, and effective sound design.

• Integrate Copy & CTAs: Seamlessly weave in primary text concepts, headlines, and clear calls-to-action as guided by the strategist.

• Collaborate Closely: Maintain clear, fast communication (Slack, etc.) with the Creative Strategist to receive feedback, discuss edits, and ensure alignment with performance goals.

• Asset Management: Organize and manage video files and project assets efficiently.

• Meet Deadlines: Deliver high-quality edits reliably and on schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Who We're Looking For:

• Proven Social Ad Editing Experience: Minimum 2+ experience specifically editing short-form video advertisements for performance marketing campaigns on Meta & TikTok. A portfolio showcasing direct-response style video ads is required.

• Technical Proficiency: Highly skilled in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut is a major plus). Proficiency in basic motion graphics (e.g., After Effects for text overlays) is desirable.

• Platform Native: Deep understanding of what works visually on TikTok and Meta feeds/stories/reels – you know the trends, the hooks, the pacing, the sounds that grab attention immediately.

• Performance-Oriented Mindset: You understand the goal is conversion, not just aesthetics. You are receptive to feedback driven by ad metrics and can adapt edits accordingly. (Links to Strategist's "Data Mastery," "Creativity That Converts").

• Detail-Oriented: Ensures brand consistency, correct aspect ratios, and error-free text/graphics. Nothing sloppy makes the cut.

• Basic understanding of direct response marketing principles.

• Experience editing UGC content.

Compensation:
$2,000 monthly base salary, with the opportunity to earn monthly performance-based bonuses tied to creative contributions. Total monthly compensation can reach up to $4,000 based on performance.
