Cybersecurity Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to enhance our cybersecurity posture by implementing robust security measures and protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity practices, including setting up and managing various security tools and technologies. This individual will play a critical role in protecting our organization's sensitive information and systems from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

- Set up Microsoft Enterprise Network Identity (EN ID) with seamless integration of 1Password for efficient and secure password management.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for comprehensive endpoint protection against malware, viruses, and other cyber threats.
- Implement automated patch management processes to ensure timely and effective updates across all systems and software.
- Define and manage permissions, access controls, and roles within our digital infrastructure to enforce least privilege principles and ensure data integrity.
- Establish and maintain an "Always on VPN" solution to secure remote access to our network and resources for employees working from various locations.
- Deploy and manage both physical and digital firewalls to monitor and control incoming and outgoing network traffic, preventing unauthorized access and data breaches.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in setting up and managing Microsoft EN ID, including integration with 1Password or similar password management solutions.
- Strong expertise in configuring and managing Microsoft Defender for endpoint security.
- Demonstrated proficiency in implementing automated patch management solutions.
- Extensive experience in defining permissions, access controls, and roles within complex digital environments.
- In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies and protocols, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing "Always on VPN" solutions.
- Expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining physical and digital firewalls to protect network infrastructure.
