Content Specialist - Physical Security

We are seeking a knowledgeable and creative Physical Security Specialist with experience in security systems, networks, and the physical security guard industry. This part-time position focuses on promoting our security consultancy services by leveraging your expertise to write engaging blog articles, create compelling video scripts, and edit videos for our company’s YouTube channel. This role will play a key part in establishing our brand as a thought leader in the security field.

Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation: Write well-researched and insightful articles about physical security topics for the company blog, highlighting best practices, trends, and innovations.
2. Scriptwriting: Develop clear, engaging scripts for video content that communicates key security concepts and services to a diverse audience.
3. Video Editing: Edit videos to professional standards, incorporating visuals, graphics, and audio to create polished content ready for YouTube and other platforms.
4. Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of security systems and the physical security industry to produce content that resonates with clients and prospects.
5. Brand Advocacy: Align all content with our company’s mission and values, emphasizing our expertise and reliability in the security field.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with the company owner and other team members to brainstorm content ideas and ensure alignment with marketing objectives.
7. Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest developments in physical security and incorporate these insights into your work to maintain content relevance and authority.

Qualifications
1. At least 3-5 years of experience in the physical security industry
2. Proficiency in writing, editing, and creating video content
3. Strong understanding of security systems and networks
4. Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools)
5. Excellent research and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
8. Knowledge of YouTube content strategies and audience engagement techniques is a plus
