Architectural Technician / Structural Engineer (Part Time – Remote)

We are a UK structural engineering consultancy established for over 9 years. We prepare structural calculations for house alterations such as wall removals.

We are looking for a part time Architectural Technician or Structural Engineer to assist with structural work. All work will be reviewed and approved by a Qualified Engineer.

Architectural plans and site photos will be provided for each project.

Tasks

Review architectural drawings and site photos
Prepare structural mark ups on drawings
Prepare basic structural calculations using templates
Assist with beam sizing for wall removals
Organise project files

Requirements

Civil or Structural Engineering degree, Architectural Technology degree or related discipline
Ability to read architectural drawings
Good attention to detail
Good written English
Reliable and organised

Hours

Approximately 16 hours per week with flexible working hours.
This is intended to be a long term role.
