ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a dual role that combines HR Management with Traffic Control. You will be the person who makes sure the right work is getting to the right people at the right time, while also building the people processes that allow the agency to grow without breaking.
On the HR side, you will help us recruit, onboard, evaluate, and develop our team. On the traffic side, you will monitor team capacity and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You will be a trusted leader who is comfortable meeting with tea

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
TRAFFIC CONTROL & CAPACITY MANAGEMENT
- Monitor team capacity and workload across pods and roles on a daily and weekly basis
- Assign and re-route work to balance the load and hit deadlines
- Identify bottlenecks early and work with leadership to resolve them
- Use ClickUp to track project status, owner, due dates, and team capacity
- Use Hubstaff to monitor team productivity, time usage, and attendance
- Flag underutilization and overload before they become problems
HR & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Lead recruiting efforts including writing job posts, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and helping make hiring decisions
- Own the new hire onboarding process from offer letter to first 90 days
- Run regular 1:1s and check-ins with tea
- Track team performance, set KPIs in partnership with team leads, and build a clear performance review cadence
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion
- Support payroll administration in Gusto and coordinate with leadership on raises, role changes, and offboarding when needed
PROCESSES & POLICIES
- Build, document, and roll out internal processes and SOPs across HR and operations
- Create and maintain employee policies, handbooks, and team guidelines
- Drive consistency in how the team works, reports, and communicates
- Continuously improve how we recruit, onboard, evaluate, and retain talent

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven HR or people operations experience, ideally inside a marketing agency or another fast-paced service business
- Traffic management, project management, or resource planning experience. You know how to look at a team and quickly understand who is over capacity, who has room, and where work should go.
- Strong leadership and people skills. You can hold tea
- Hands-on experience with ClickUp, Hubstaff, and Gusto. These are core to our stack and you should be comfortable in all three.
- Recruiting experience. You have sourced, screened, and helped hire tea
- Excellent written and spoken English. You will be in meetings, on calls, and writing internal communications daily.
- Strong process and documentation instincts. You naturally turn chaos into systems.
- Self-directed, organized, and able to manage many moving pieces without losing track
- Reliable internet and a workspace suited for full-time remote work during EST hours
