About Aoede LLC
Aoede LLC is a Texas-based property management company overseeing a growing, diversified portfolio of commercial, single-family, and short-term rental properties across Texas and California. Founded with the mindset of a startup but built on enterprise-level professional experience, we move fast, build smart, and hold ourselves to a high standard.
Our team of 10+ professionals spans multiple countries and operates fully remote, managing everything from a 70-unit commercial building in Houston to Airbnb properties in Austin and single-family rentals in California. We hire talent from around the world — including the Philippines, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Venezuela, and beyond. We don't care where you sit. We care how you perform.
What makes us different: we combine the speed and scrappiness of a startup with the processes, structure, and professionalism you'd expect from a much larger organization. We invest heavily in documentation — our runbooks and tutorials are built so that the right person can get up to speed quickly and operate independently. We reward performance, not tenure. If you learn the material, execute at a high level, and take ownership of your work, you'll grow here.
Our culture is built on communication, collaboration, and humility. We operate as a team — not in silos. Everyone, from leadership down, is open to feedback and willing to hear what they need to do to improve. We're not perfect and we don't pretend to be. What we do is strive for continuous improvement and learning every single day. Leadership is genuinely invested in finding better ways to do things, and we expect the same mindset from everyone on the team.
A Note on Honesty
We value honesty over impressive claims. Please don't tell us you're an expert in something you've only read about or briefly touched. It's okay to say "I've used AppFolio a few times but I'm not an expert" or "I haven't handled evictions before but I'm willing to learn." We will find out the truth — whether it's during the assessment, the interview, or the first week on the job. And when we do, it damages trust that's very hard to rebuild.
We would much rather hire someone who says "I don't know that yet, but I'll learn it" than someone who claims to know everything and can't deliver. Being humble, honest about where you are, and willing to put in the work to grow — that's what gets you far here. We have the training, the runbooks, and the team support to get the right person up to speed. What we can't teach is integrity.
We're actively expanding our portfolio and our team. We do annual team bonding trips because we believe the people behind the work matter just as much as the work itself.
This is a company where your work matters, your voice is heard, and your growth is directly tied to what you put in.
