3D Animator (3DS Max)

Job Description:
We are seeking an Experienced 3D Studio Max Animator to join our visualization team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D animation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through visual media. You will be responsible for creating high-quality looped character animations that will become the major components in an exciting visualization project.

Key Responsibilities:
Create High-Quality Animations: Develop charming animations using Autodesk 3D Studio Max to support various efforts, including design proposals and marketing materials.
Collaborate with creatives: Work closely with our existing visualization team, playground designers, and other key members of the company to understand project scopes and deliverables.
Help develop an animation workflow: Implement best practices to optimize animation processes and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Stay Updated: Stay on top of the latest trends and technologies in 3D animation to continually enhance the quality of our work.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in 3D animation using Autodesk 3D Studio Max.
Education: Minimum 2 years formal tertiary education in Art and Animation for Screen and Media, Motion Graphics, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in 3D Studio Max, with strong skills in animation, modeling, rigging, animation, and rendering. Familiarity with Chaos Corona or other rendering engines is a plus.
Artistic Ability: Exceptional understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
Software Knowledge: If not experienced with 3ds Max, experience with other 3D software like Maya or Blender is advantageous.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve creative challenges.
Portfolio: A compelling portfolio or demo reel showcasing your animation work is required.

We are an Australian company in the manufacturing industry. You will be joining an existing visualisation team, of which 6 members are already based in the Philippines. You will work with an Australian manager who will provide instruction on all small tasks and larger projects.
